This is Cecil the lion from Hwange National Park who was tragically wounded with an arrow by Walter Palmer, an American recreational big-game hunter. Cecil suffered for 10-12 hours before tracked down and killed with another arrow. The photo was courtesy of friends Nataly and Tony Pinfold who are partners at SATIB conservation Trust.
