I saw my first Atlantic puffins on the Farne Islands off the coast of Northumberland. These striking sea clowns are hugely popular among birdwatchers but climate change has caused their numbers to plummet in the UK. I want to raise more awareness of these tiny, charismatic seabirds.

I am a wildlife artist, writer and photographer based in Scotland. I use my work to inspire others to connect to the natural world. As Writer in Residence for Wild Intrigue, I write and illustrate regular articles about British species including pipistrelle bats, kittiwakes and swallows.
