There is wide spread poaching of the Indian rhinos for their horns. They are endangered species, and listed under the ICUN Red list. The only remaining habitat of the rhino in India is the Khaziranga National Park.

I am a retired Prof of Economics, Osmania University, Hyderabad. I have always been drawing and painting since childhood, and was awarded many prizes at my school, state, and national levels. After retirement, I joined an Art academy in Hyderabad, and learned Oil and Acrylics painting. Encouraged by my art teachers, I participated and won some prizes for my paintings in local, state, national and international competitions. I continue to be a student, and learn from various online courses.
