Ink and watercolour on paper

21 cm x 29 cm

This ink and watercolour painting shows Cyclura Nubila Caymanensis, a critically endangered subspecies of Cuban Rock Iguana. This striking individual can be found only in the Cayman Islands. I was inspired by the work of biologist conservationist Adam Mitchell and my own travels to the Caribbean iguana watching.

Philippa Bandurek Bradbury works primarily with ink, watercolours, and acrylic on paper or board. She grew up on the coast of Sussex, and studied design at Reading and Oxford Brookes Universities. A keen explorer from an early age, she has travelled extensively gaining experiences that have heavily influenced her work.
