The picture depicts the puffin Colony on Lunga, one of the Treshnish Isles on the West Coast of Scotland. When I was in my late 30s I played Shirley Valentine at Mull Little Theatre for a season. The wages were not great, but a treat was a free trip to Fingals Cave and Lunga. The colony is on top of a cliff and the puffins appear at your feet from out of their burrows. It took me over 25 years to return to this wonderful spot, but this time my husband and I sailed there in our own boat. There are hundreds of puffins in this colony and if you get a chance to go - take it!

I am 71, live in Edinbugh and am shielding. I took up painting last August and it has been my saviour in lockdown.
