I love all wildlife especially primates, Orangutans are so intelligent yet man continues to ruin their habitat and drive them to near extinction! It breaks my heart. My reference was taken from Flickr, The Bornean Orangutan (pongo pygmaeus) is a species of orangutan native to the island of Borneo.

I am an amateur artist, I have been painting for nine years and love drawing and sculpting animals and animal portraiture. I work in all mediums, watercolour, acrylic, fibre, pyrography, needle felt and wire sculpture, it gives me great satisfaction to see my subject come alive!
