The Eurasian lynx - as the name suggests - inhabits not only the European continent, but also the Asian part of Russia and Mongolia and the Middle East. In Europe alone, lynx can be found in the Carpathians, Poland, Russia, Scandinavia and Belarus. The number of lynxes in Europe dropped sharply in the first half of the 20th century. It was the result of the destruction of forests. Currently, scientists speak of about 110 individuals living in Polish territories, including less than 40 in north-eastern Poland. It is not enough for a lowland lynx to survive in our country without human assistance.

My name is Justyna and I am a student of Fine Arts at the Visual Arts Institute in Kielce. I am interested in travel, ecology and art. Photography, painting and graphics are my passions. I am an industrial design engineer by profession.
