Original artwork kindly donated to Sketch for Survival by Julie Hadfield
Acrylic paint on acrylic paper
21 cm x 29 cm
After seeing endangered Japanese Red Crowned Cranes on a nature programme about Hokkaido, I felt moved to capture their ethereal beauty amongst the snowy landscape of northern Japan, a place I hope to visit one day and maybe see these stunning birds for real.
As a lifelong nature lover, wildlife is a natural choice of subject as an artist. However, loving something doesn't necessarily make it an easier subject. I have a passion for snow scenes which constantly inspire me, and are also often quite a challenge, but a challenge I adore.
Items usually despatched within 3-8 working days. Price includes VAT and UK postage. International postage charged at £5 - please enquire. Artwork sold unframed. Mock Up images not to scale. All profits donated to Explorers Against Extinction (registered UK charity No 1177505).
