Sri Lanka Blue Magpie Urocissa ornata is an endemic bird species to Sri Lanka. The meaning of their name is the beautiful lady in the forest. They live only in primary forests in wet zone and hills. I have referred photographs which I took at Sinharaja rainforest, to do this painting.

I am G. A. D. Sewwandi (28 years old) from Sri Lanka. I have completed university education in Landscape Architecture field. I am interested in drawing, painting, watching wildlife and traveling. I wanted to share the beauty of my country to the whole world and I am proudly presenting this artwork to you.
