The hawksbill sea turtle is a Critically Endangered species, hunted for hundreds of years in huge numbers for their tortoise shell that was used in many types of jewelry and trinkets. The painting is signed in the top right corner but is hard to see because of the background colour.

16 years old, took up art as a hobby at a young age and gradually progressed during my time spent doing GCSE art.
