Friends of Gippsland depicts some of Australias iconic animals that were caught in the Gippsland Fires 2019/20. Recent research found the wombats would share their homes to give protection from the fires to other species. This Disneyesque digital drawing contrasts our wildlife with the on coming threat of fire.

Daniel Bardey is a British Ecologist and Conservationist who worked in East Gippsland, Australia during the 2019 and 2020 wild fires.
