Turtles are classified as endangered species. They are caught and killed by humans to make jewellery, sunglasses and ornaments. A species that has survived for 220 million years now faces extinction. I have tried to capture the turtle at its most beautiful - alive and in the sea.

I am an 18 year old A level student looking forward to studying a foundation course in art and design in September 2020. Art has been a great passion of mine from a young age as I love to express my opinions through my pieces. My work from a previous project about racism has also been selected for the RA summer online exhibition therefore this inspires me as a student to produce pieces with a message and a personal attachment.
